An incomplete endeavor
Inch by inch we came closer
And yet the distances remain
Amid this soot and ash
Half told our story remains
Test of love is to not to reach
its zenith
But Yearning for this candle
the unachievable should remain
Lights and the horizons so
bright
alone desolation
the blazing reds - my blood
Announcing its delight
amid everything else, a pinch
this disdain will remain
In the sand of time
Something like my name
Which you once wrote
Now remains
Half said lines
Untold stories
Half finished poems
Half made songs
An incomplete endeavour
Is all that remains
scent of your essence
intoxicated me
To time I asked, where did you flee
If this was my heaven, then how?
Where are you, why can't I see
The starts, the moon and the
fairy too
Extinguished yet burning
do you have a clue?
Where are you, why can't I see
Centuries have shrunk
And this moment of wait,
Pour from your eyes-the wine
That cup forever got me drunk
Half said lines
Untold stories
Half finished poems
An incomplete endeavour
Is all that remains
And yet I know
An end will come
This dark tunnel ahead
And faith as we know
Like your being, it will glow
Will finish the lines
of a poem untold
To complete its endeavour
For us to remain
